Dr. Julee Zornes, AuD

Dr. Julee Zornes grew up in a military family originally from Massachusetts, but she considers the Mississippi Gulf Coast home. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Gulfport, MS in 2005. Shortly thereafter, Hurricane Katrina hit her hometown and she relocated to Mobile, Alabama. In 2007, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of South Alabama and went on to receive her Doctorates Degree in Audiology there as well in 2011. Following graduation, she accepted a job opportunity in Fort Walton Beach and has been practicing audiology in the area ever since. She has worked with several local ENT’s over the years and also has experience in private practice settings helping veterans and school aged children with their hearing needs.

Dr. Zornes is nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association with the Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) and is licensed by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Her main areas of interests include diagnostic hearing testing and fitting hearing aids. She also is passionate about working with special needs populations and how psychological and neurological development affects auditory processing disorders.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Zornes has fun attempting to keep up with her two very active little boys. She also loves photography, the outdoors, and exploring antique stores and flea markets.
